Branding & identitymade to last for years.
Logos, color, type and the rules for using them, designed to work together and to outlast this year's trends.
What a brand project includes
Everything your team needs to use the brand the same way everywhere.
Brand discovery
Before we design anything, we agree on who you are, who you're talking to and how you want to come across.
Logo design
A primary logo, a secondary mark and an icon, in every format you'll need.
Color palette
Primary and secondary colors, with contrast checked for accessibility.
Typography
Typefaces that work in print and on screen, with licensing sorted out up front.
Style guide
A short reference so anyone on your team can use the brand correctly.
File library
Final files organized by format and by use: web, print and social.
A logo is one part of a brand
Here's the one we made for Heco Pacific, a crane builder in the Bay Area, delivered the way we deliver every identity: the mark, plus the versions and rules that keep it right wherever it goes.

Built for everywhere people see you
People meet your business in a lot of places: your sign, your website, an invoice, a social post, a business card. Your brand is the impression all of those leave together.
So we design the whole system: the mark, the colors, the type, and the rules that keep them consistent wherever someone sees you.
Each project starts with a discovery conversation, so the design grows out of your business rather than out of whatever is popular this year.
Start a project →A full brand project includes

- A brand style guide as a PDF
Amazingly beautiful work! You've perfectly captured the old-world look we were going for.

How a brand project runs
You'll see three distinct directions and choose one. We develop that one fully instead of blending them.
- 01
Discovery
A questionnaire and a working call to agree on direction before any design starts.
- 02
Concepts
Three distinct directions. You choose one, and that's the one we develop.
- 03
Refine
The chosen direction developed in full, with your changes.
- 04
Deliver
Final files and the style guide, ready for your team and your printer.
Questions people ask
We already have a logo. Can you build a brand around it?
Yes. We can develop colors, type, patterns and usage rules around a logo you want to keep.
Do you refresh existing logos?
Yes. A refresh updates your mark and keeps the recognition you've already built.
Can you do our brand and our website together?
Yes, and we'd finish the brand first. The website comes out better, and nothing has to be redone halfway through the build.
What files will we get?
SVG, EPS, print-ready PDF, PNG with transparent and white backgrounds, and JPEG in several sizes, organized so you always know which file to send.
What if we don't like any of the three directions?
It's rare, because discovery does most of the work. If it happens, we go back to the strategy conversation instead of pushing a direction you don't believe in.
